The MBASE program performs a base line correction on the data, in the frequency domain.
The MBASE program is called as follows (all parameters must be specified on the same line):
<Machine ID>mbase <name> <expno> <procno> <disk> <user> <dimension> <filtersize>
The first five parameters define the previously transformed spectrum file on which to operate. The dimension parameter selects the dimension in which the slices are base line corrected. For a description of the method used, see ?. A good suggestion for the value of filtersize is 3.
